Thanks for stopping by to check out our Mid-week inspiration @ FTHS!

Not sure about you, but Halloween is my favorite holiday. Not sure because it's close to my birthday or not - but I love it. So I knew I just had to have this lil guy!! I am also using the current sketch along with the twist as well.

Don't forget we also have our SOTM challenge going on as well.

Faith has another wonderful challenge going on as well. She has a personal project to Design 100 Snowman! She has created a separate Project 100 category under the Snowmen category in the store because these will each be available for just $1 until her project is complete. There’s not really supposed to be a set time for her completion, but she has set a goal to complete it by Christmas. Some images may contain more than one snowmen, so there may not be 100 total individual illustrations, but there will be 100 snowmen.

Lots of fun things happening @ From The Heart Stamps!
Make sure you check it all out!

Bye for now!

Mid-Month Reminder @ FTHS

Have you seen the SOTM over at FTHS?
He is SO adorable!!

Believe it or not, this is my 1st time creating a shaker card!! My girlfriends have been doing it for awhile, so I thought I would give it a try. I think it turned out pretty good. I thought this image would make the perfect shaker card. I had really wanted to use something more 'snow' like, but couldn't find my fake snow here that I use at Christmas time. So, I thought I would just use some sequins. I like the shimmer from the sequins. I will definitely  be investing in some more on our upcoming scrapbooking trip to Chicago!

Challenge #240

It's Wednesday and you know what that means!!
Challenge time @ Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge.

Theme - Anything Goes

I got you use this wonderful image from Oddball Art. I had never heard of them before I had started on the DT. I am really liking the images as they are so much fun to color!!

Here is my card:

Image: Sherry Rescues a Puppy
Paper: Teresa Collins Fabrications "Canvas", kraft cardstock
Coloring Medium: Copics and Colored pencils & Gamsol
Other Supplies: Lawn Fawn Small Stitched Rectangle Stackable die, American Crafts Twine (Blue & Crème) atyou Spica pens 02 Pink, 04 Orange & 20 Chocolate, Gelly Roll Clear Star pen, Martha Stewart Living Pearls

I wanted to keep my card pretty simple. I distressed the edges and even the flower paper that I had run thru my Cuttlebug folder. Just to give it some 'slight' character w/o taking away from the image.

If you haven't checked out my "teamies" you really should!!
They have some wonderful creations to share with you today!

And of course, remember to stop by 1 or all of our sponsors and check them out. Who knows what you might find!!

August Blog Hop @ FTHS

Welcome to our From the Heart Stamps blog hop.
We have a Tag You’re It theme this month.

Our designers are showcasing lots of gorgeous projects.

As you hop along, please leave a comment on each entry. One random commenter will be selected on each blog to win an image of choice from the FTHS store. And additionally, one commenter on the From the Heart Stamps blog will be selected to win a $15 gift voucher to the store!

If you have arrived from Lyn, you are in the right place, if not why don’t you start on the From the Heart Stamps blog, so you don’t miss anything.

Here is my project, using
Image: Birthday Brew
Paper: Colorbox Hootenanny
Coloring Medium: Copics
Other Supplies: Epoxy Dots, Liquid Applique

Sometimes you never quite know what to get a man for a birthday gift. Other than a gift card. So I thought I would make a nice tag to go on a 6 pack of beer. It didn't quite turn out how I wanted it to. I was searching forever to find my hole punch, but could not find it. So I improvised and it didn't turn out like I wanted. I think I may have hit a creative "road block". I have been so focused on these 200 wedding invitations I have been working on that I feel like I am in a bit of a rut. But I will be finishing those up tonight and I hope I can get back into the swing of things!!

Now head over to Calypso and see what she has created.

Thanks for hopping with us today. The hop will end on Monday August 10th at 6 am EST. Winners will be posted on the From the Heart Stamps Blog on Wednesday August 12.

Challenge #239

Time for our weekly challenge over at
Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge!!

Our challenge this week is:
Challenge 239
Theme - A card for a child, or featuring a child

As I was looking thru Paper Creator's site for an image to use I came across this lil guy! Halloween is my favorite holiday. And this lil guy all dressed up as Dracula is just too darn cute! It's hard to tell, but I printed this image 3 times and cut out his cape and hair twice. Then doubled them up on the image to give them a little bit of dimension. I thought this would be a cute card for one of my grandkids for Halloween.
